Hello, does anyone know what this is please? It is growing very close to a brick and has one stem.

it is solomon's seal and it is a lovely plant. it likes partial shade, slightly moist. it will cause mild stomach upset if you eat it. you will have to watch out for sawfly cattrepillars and they strip the leaves .
i love it and have it in several parts of the garden.

Solamans Seal I think. I've just read that it is poisonous but I should'nt worry - you are not going to eat it are you lol - Sadie
