Is this tree in a pot or in the ground, and how long have you had it? Anything obvious on the foliage in terms of insects, and any marks on the fruits?

Hi I've only had it a couple of months but it was given to me by my uncle who's had it for 2years but his other two apple trees are the same too, there's no signs on the fruit and the tree is potted but I did first think it was white fly and have treated it for that but hasn't fixed it .

Not sure what it is - any chance of a photograph from further away, showing more or less the whole tree plus pot?
It looks a bit like rust, but apple trees don't usually get that in this country...
