Berberis Identification

I planted several Berberis a few years ago and want to add some more of the same. I can't identify the type; can you help?

You're right! That explains why I couldn't find it! I blame my wife who said it was a berberis (but now denies it). Thank you all for your help.

Hi Patrickda, Are you sure that really is a Berberis? It looks ever so like a Pyracnatha. With best wishes, JONATHAN H.
