The best info I can find on this is one plant every 2 linear feet. Hope it helps

Depends on what you are trying to cover. 1 Boston Ivy plant will eventually cover a huge area.

Yes. I'd go with Wyeboy - we have planted one at the side of our house knowing that that one plant will be sufficient to cover it in time.
