This question is on Chamaecyparis obtuse 'Wells Special'

I want to use hinoki cypress as part of a vision screen, block the view of my landscape from others. I have a row of burford holly planted with about 3 feet between them when they are mature. The burford holly will get to be about 12ft high. I want to place the Wells Special Hinoki cypress between the holly to break up the texture. The Hinoki Cypress will grow to about 20ft and I don't want it that tall. Has anyone had any experience with toping the Hinoki Cypress? How often does it need to be re-cut?
