Dig them up and bin them, replanting isn't going to work and letting them grow isn't a good idea.

Have to confess I often leave mine and get a good crop off them, even though they look untidy and are in the way! Last year some appeared under my bean wigwam and they did very well!

The rule is when you have dug your Potato crop, dig over the plot again and get another bucket full !

Even then you will still get volunteers Diane - Bulba digs the tattie patch twice and yet every year a few appear. Generally we remove them if we can.

I still have 2 left in which are not completely in the way so I'll give them a chance and report back later,
But I took 5 up.

You can compost the leaves but not the roots/tubers
