Does putting victoria plum seeds in the freezer to germinate them actually work?

Even if you get the plum stones to germinate, you will have to wait a long time for plums and then you might not end up with a worthwhile tree. Plums trees are grafted on a rootstock, Pixy to produce a dwarf or St. Julien A for a semi-vigourous tree.
