What is the best compost to use for growing on plugs in trays

I have used JN1 before and bog standard multipurpose compost on its own and a mixture of the 2. both work well as plugs are only in their homes temporarily. welcome to GoY

I would use john Innes No.1, it contains the right nutrients to give Plugs the right start. I hope this helps!
