Give them a feed just now and later before the leaves die back. Then let the leaves die back completely before removing them and hopefully next year you will have better results?

Are they planted in a sunny position? I noticed that my daffodils planted in sunny part of garden flowered well than the others.

A common problem this year probably due to last years dry spring. As this spring is also dry perhaps keeping them watered will help for next year - add some liquid feed to the water.
