Do I have a young camellia here? I've been raising this small shrub as if it was, and hope someone can confirm through this photo. Thank you.




No its not a camelia - they have dark green leathery leaves. I can't for the life of me remember its name but someone will.

Could it be a Photinia Red Robin ? just going by the reddening tips of the new foliage.. ..definitely not a Camellia..

My first thought was that it reminded me of eleagnus, I had a variegated one that produces suckers with leaves similar, it was a long while ago so I,m not sure
