Why are the fronds on my Bismarck Palm turning red/gold?

I planted a 25 gallon Bismarck Palm about 2 years ago and it's been growing fine until I came home today and found that several of the fronds are turning red/gold. This literally happened during the last 48 hours. Does anyone have an idea of what may be causing this?

This looks like Trachycarpos fortunei. Do bear in mind that no leaves - even evergreen leaves - last for ever. They might just have come to the end of their usefullness to the plant and will be replaced by new leaves during the spring.
