I am planning on growing strawberries and raspberries at the allotment, but wasn't sure what type of soil they grow best in?
Anyone know?

hi, i planted raspberries, gooseberries, and redcurrants last autumn. they are growing beautifully this yr. im kinda surprised as the soil in my garden is not the best, but i got the plants cheap so decided to take a chance with them. i planted them at the side of the garden shed which is sheltered.
