hi, I would like to grow three clematis together, so I get flowers in spring, summer and autum, I do like the double ones, any help would be appreciated

I am growing 3 clematis in my hanging baskets but of same varity.
I sent for these plants 3yrs ago an dthey still grow with me.

I top dresses basket this week and plants are growing along well.

How about going along to see what is on offer now Spring at your local gardne centre then in Summer and Autumn.

But if you have alook the lables will tell you when they all bloom and then you can mix and match.

I have some clematis planted under trees in my garden and nice when they mingle through.

And there are so many nice clematis to choose from.

Just bear in mind that when to prune clematis depends on when they flower. Trying to work out which stems to cut and disentangle from the others may cause a headache
