I have grown runner beans this year and i have kept some beans back for growing next year do these have to be dried ?

Many thanks

Yes let them dry off completely in the pod then remove from pod put in a paper bag or envelope and store somewhere cool, dry and away from vermin... a metal tin works well then you can put in the potting shed or garage.

Bear in mind that runner beans can be crossed with other varieties of runner bean grown nearby, up to half a mile away.
