Thanks to all for trying to help with my ailing salix. I thought of putting a photo on, but have decided that whatever happens it doesn't look very attractive any more and, as it's a centrepiece, I'm calling time on the poor old thing!

Hmm, I still think it's worth posting a photo - if its got a fungal disease from the roots, then what you plant next might also be affected, particularly if its the same plant.
