Dry them off and either tie them up a piece of thin rope in a spiral, or crumple some wire netting in a box and put them in that, keep them in a dry airy room and check them occasionally for any signs of rot.

Oh i see, just as you would normally store onions for consumption. My dad used to tie them up and hang them.
I have an outside cubby that might do for storing.
