Can anyone tell me why my courgettes have only produced male flowers this year - I have had 4 courgettes from 8 plants. Loads of flowers but no courgettes?

My 4 cucumber plants were the same until 3 weeks ago now I have 1 cucumber and all female fowers. I blamed the guy I got them from as his were ok
