I have been given a Calla Lily for my birthday and was wondering if i can pot it up into a large pot and keep it in the garden for the summer months and then put it into the greenhouse for the winter months

Thanks for responding I will post the question again today along with a picture that i have just taken and perhaps you can verify that it is a Calla lily.

Just saw the picture, Roger. It's a type of calla that doesn't like boggy soil, so let the top cm dry out between soakings. It will also want to be mostly dry and frost free while it is dormant in the winter.

Calla lilies are normally bog plants grown in shallow water. Are you sure that's what it is?
