Required conditions to germinate Delonix regia?

I have some seeds but thus far have been unable to germinate them. Does anyone know the required conditions please?
The seeds came from a mature woody husk. I tried damp compost and kept them in the airing cupboard for warmth but no joy.

I brought back ten seeds from a holiday, and remembered an old tip from grandpa, i sandpapered briefly the seeds first just scratching the surface, the i placed over night in a cup of water just off the boil, 24 hours later, i was able to peel off the skin, placed in compost in a bright, warm place and kept moist. Of 10 seeds 3 germinated in less than a week, the rest were a bit slower and took between 2 and 8 weeks, with 1 no starter, hope this helps

This is a Pea Family tree so probably has seeds that vary in dormancy. Try soaking for 24hours in hot but not boiling water, another trick is to notch the edge with a knife. but only some of the seeds come up in a month or so, others may wait a year before germinating,, This way the tree iincreases its chances of germinating in suitable conditions.
