large pond raised up just filled it in and on the top compost ready for planting larger area probably about 10ft width and depth so need ideas for what to plant for year round colour - perenials and evergreens not to prolific in growth about 10 different if I can. If it was me and I was going from scratch I'd plant hardy fuchsias (the riccartoni ones are the hardiest, hope I've spelt that right) and some pretty different coloured heucheras.
You'll have a brilliant time choosing and buying! Have you looked at Goypedia to get some planting ideas? You give a lot of detail but don't say whether it's sunny or shady?
