Weeding asked for help for you because you had not had an answer. I'm not an expert but he was asking how to get rid of the unwanted growth of side shoots on tomato plants. Let them grow, above where a leaf meets the main stem, until they are an inch long then pinch them between your finger and nail to get them out cleanly. If you want to get rid of unwanted leaves which are shading the tomatoes then these need to be cut off using a clean knife near the stem.
