My orange blossom shrub has been in the garden for 3years but only has a few flowers which are mainly hidden by foliage. When should I prune it and how can I get more blossoms?

They should be pruned after they've finished flowering. Maybe you pruned it at the wrong time, did you? I'd try feeding it after the prune, and again in the early spring.
