My nieghbours tree has disease on it and the tips of it are touching my lovely healthy magnolia tree, is it best to trim back my tree (it is huge!) or leave it, not sure if lopping a branch of and leaveing it open as it were would be worse than having it touching the other tree, I guess I'm not sure it the desease is airbourne or if the trees are touching, or if its just not transferable and I should therefore not worry. It is a beautiful mature tree and I would hate to loose it. The desease looks like white mildrew on the tree
