Hi i have a cordeline it is mature 6ft has flowered once, and this winter although i protected it, all the leaves are gone and i am uncertain if it is dead? should i cut it down? or wait to see if it recovers,but how long do i wait?
appreciate any advice.

This happened to mine a few years ago. I waited and new growth started to appear at the base as they often know there time is up and send out new shoots. Unfortunately I finally lost it. A lot of people have lost both Cordylines and yuccas as the last two years have been particularly cold for them.
