my father in law had a rose named after him how do i find out any details?

If the rose was formally named it would be registered with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS). You could try contacting them for any details.

Type the name of the rose in to the following web site and it will find it for you. You should be able to find out more about the plant online from that lead. http://apps.rhs.org.uk/rhsplantfinder/
