Do 'Irish' wallflowers grow in Ireland? I have never seen them. If you mean the shrubby forms, it is better to take cutting every couple of years and replant as they are short lived anyway.

I think we need a photo, I've never heard of 'Irish' wallflowers and the basic biennial wallflower does not need pruning.
