what do you do with tulips when they are finished, how long should they be left in the ground?

ideally you should leave the foliage to die down naturally so that tulip bulbs gets as much energy as they can get through foliage. hope it helps

Definitely let the foliage die back naturally. We just leave ours in the ground all year round.
