on my minuture plum there is brown sap coming out of the branches what can i do please it is more like a stickey sap and when touched it looks like blood not foamy

Foamy brown sap? That sounds like slime flux. If so, there is no real cure, though tree surgeons will occasionally inject an affected tree with streptomycin. That has variable results. My neighbor had it on her terebinth tree, and it gradually just went away. I don't know if a plum can fight it off like that, though.
