I have a few of these little blue flowers growing in the grass. I haven't seen them before. What are they please?

That's a bluebell. It's just opening, the flower spike will get taller and the bells will open. We can't tell yet if it's a Spanish Bluebell or an English one.

Thank you Beattie. I have bluebells in full bloom elsewhere in the garden and they are much bigger.

That one looks as if it's been mown a few times - the leaves have been chopped off.
