With ref: to Bamboo's answer to Heron's question about small trees and the Amonagowa (Japanese Flowering Cherry). About 12 feet?, take a peek at my pride and joy. Planted as a 3 foot twig back in the early 80's. I just poppped in and hoped for the best.

Wow - that's certainly a whopper and it's full of blossom as well. It obviously likes where you have put it.

My neighbour has one that started as a slim pillar for a few years and then romped away the same as yours. Her's has been in for about 20 years so I would think that's about it's full height now, the same as yours.

Well the info on eventual, mature height in my book says 15 feet, though I've seen them a little taller. that one looks to be a good bit taller than that, though, lol!
