I have an aeonium zwartkop, but it doesn't seem to want to turn black. It has produced a lot of "babies" on the stems, but they are all green. The adult plant has vague black edges to each leaf, but not glossy black and each leaf is quite flat, not thick and fleshy. It is in my conservatory and is now about 2 foot high. What am I doing wrong?

Needs sunshine - if its not exposed to direct sunlight, it fades to green.
