we recently planted a laurel hedge and some of the leaves have turned yellow and are dropping off. Could you tell me what the problem is. We have watered it regularly since we put them in. Thanks.

Couple of questions first - what kind of Laurel is it - spotted laurel or cherry laurel? When did you plant them? And when you say you've watered regularly, precisely what does that mean - half a gallon once a week around all? Walking up and down with the hose pipe with a spray gun every day? And where in the UK are you, north, south?
