Hello, i was wondering how many plants you put in a 10/12inch hanging basket,with none half way down. my sister says 1 upright and 4 round but this doesnt seem many?

Depends on the plants you're using as much as anything - 4 busy lizzies would be all you could squeeze in there, but if you're using surfinia petunias, for instance, 3 of those max, with an upright something in the middle.
