I have a strip of soil that never gets any sun because of the house,what is the best veg to grow that dosen/t need the sun.Its about 2 feet wide and 15 feet long

I read that if you grow a plant for its root or fruit it ought to have full sun, and if you grow it for leaves, stems or buds the shade will be fine.

Most veg does like sun but I think spinach might grow in shade. It goes to seed when it is too dry so you might need to water a lot.
