Whats chomping my Lillies ?
My clumps of Lillies are poking through the ground - heights vary from 1 to 3 inches high - and the leaves appear to be getting munched. Is it slugs or would red lily beetles be active already ?

I saw a lily beetle yesterday and was so outraged I squashed it immediately. I should have posted a photo to warn people. So yes they are up and about.
It could also be slugs though. They do go for lilies.

if they are just coming out of the ground it is more likely to be slugs.

Don't know, but I found and squished a lily beetle 2 days ago, so yes it certainly could be the culprit!
