i have just got a magnolia & camillia this weekend when is the best time 2 plant into the garden from northwest

Any time now, as long as the ground's not frozen, IF the plants were outside when you bought them. If you bought them from a place where they were inside, you'll need to harden them off first.

Make sure that you plant the camellia where it will not get the early morning sun. If there has been a frost and the sun gets to the flower buds whilst the frost is on them they will drop.
