what is the proper name for a pieres japonica which reaches the height of not more than 4 ft for a container. What is the correct fertlizer for these plants.?

Pieris japonica is right, but there are at least 5 different ones (click on 'P' at the bottom of this page, and you will find details and pictures). You need to plant it in ericacious compost, as it's as acid-lover.
