Does somebody know the name of this plant, it grows quite a big bush in my garden with little white nice smelling blooms

It looks like a Camellia or a Rhodedendron to me.

What time of year does it flower? Camellias flower around now (in the UK) Rhods are around May-Jun.

I'd say it looks more like a Rhodedendron.

Not sure its either of those mentioned - when does it flower? A picture of the whole bush would be good too, for the sake of growth habit and form, and a close up of the leaves and stems - the flower itself would help too for ID if no one else knows for sure.

I agree with Bamboo, doesn't look like a Camellia or a Rhododendron.

It's a Tobira (Pittosporum tobira). We call them "Mock Orange", here, because of the scent of the flowers--and because Philadelphus won't grow here!

Well done Tug - that leaf shape was familiar, but I couldn't place it - I'm not used to seeing it as such a small plant either, lol!

How do I say thanks?
