How do you grow a Szechuan Peppercorn Tree in the UK

I have bought a Szechuan Peppercorn plant that is about 12" tall in a pot. Should I plant it out or leave in greenhouse over winter? Thanks

There are many different Peppers but I think all the Peppercorn ones are tropical or Subtropical. Keep it fairly warm through the winter preferably with a moist atmosphere. A gravel tray beneath the pot or perhaps keep in Bathroom or Kitchen. Sorry I cant track down botanical name.
