Can you please advise how I should overwinter my gladioli. This is their first year of planting. If they have to be stored, will a very cold garage be OK?

I usually plant mine deeper than suggested then just leave them in the ground. But you could lift them and store in dry compost in a frost free place. Garage sounds ideal.
