Tomato plants

I am growing tomatoes in a grow bag on the patio. Until yesterday the fruits looked healthy and were growing well and just about to ripen, today the fruits are brown and the stems are withered. Why?

They need water and sunshine to thrive. Perhaps the patio has a cover? Maybe something is in the bags which attacks the roots? How can it happen just like that overnight, unless someone sprayed them with round up a few days ago? How long ago did you buy them? Otherwise take them back, tell them they are diseased.

It really does sound like weed killer damage. Plants usually show some sign of distress before dying.

You have Phytopthora Infestins, better known as potato blight. Very common, no chance of cure.

How do I say thanks?
