I’ve got a fair size raised bed and need to enrich the soil in it.what is the easiest way to do that?
I dont have a car so I wondered if there was a portable bottle or small bag of something that can be sprinkled onto and /or dug in to improve the soil.
Thank you

If you were able to find a friend with a car, then a sack of farmhouse manure would be a great addition or a sack of soil conditioner. Good lucK!

you may also be able to find a local stable that may deliver it for you. We have one about 3 miles away that is just happy to get rid of it.

I would go for making your own compost with grass cuttings mixed with garden and kitchen waste as a basic. If you just need a general fertiliser then I would go for Blood Fish and Bone Meal to be used when the weather starts to warm up. The blood will be a quick-acting nitrogen feed and the other two will give a longer active feed.
