My 20 yr old approx Wisteria (white) has bloomed so lovely this year, but although I cant show you now as I never had a mobile camera them days, but when it was 3 yrs old, (I think the roots were feeding on an old leaking sewer pipe now removed approx 2 metre away and 500mm underground) was the reason that the flower that year grew to approx 2 metres long, I know, nobody believes me but it's true, I can remember when I walked under our gazebo (an opened wooden 8' high 4x2 wooden structure) I had to use my two hands to move apart all the hanging blooms (down to my knees) to walk through to get around to my back door, the top of one bloom had to be 20/40 across 8"/10" then went down to a point at the ends, the scent was tremendous and bees all over it, I never thought back then but it might have made the guinness book of records,
I'm devastated I never got pics of it, but have enclosed the latest as it is now

Thank you.... yes it is very pretty but it wants to enclose our house if you let it, I hadn't realised they grew so big
My wife has just gone completely blind and cannot see it's beauty (makes my shed a tear or two but have to be strong for her) although she did see it with its over 2mtr blossoms that year whilst it was enjoying our broken sewer, thank you again you lovely people with your very appreciated replies
