Not sure whether this twin headed tulip is a phenomenon..

Its not an uncommon event. Damage to the growing point as the flower stalk formed. I often get conjoined snakes head fritillaries. If you keep them for next year they may well be single again.

I also have a two headed Fritillary this year. Never seen it before.
