When repotting which soil do I use and can this plant be kept in a heated south facing conservatory?

On plant Beaucarnea recurvata

I found this information for you - they prefer bright light and can be acclimatised to full sun.

During the growing season, water every 7 to 14 days. The bulbous stems store water, so be careful not to overwater. During the winter, water monthly.

They prefer warm, arid temperatures, above 60ºF. However, they will survive down to 50º, providing they are not exposed to prolonged cold.

Pot it in rich, organic, fast-draining potting compost. Feed it weekly with liquid fertilizer during the growing season, but reduce feeding during the winter.

I hope this helps. :-)
