Nerine bulbs
Hi, last year in the spring I planted 3 Nerine bulbs, south facing. The green leaves came up but they never flowered, the leaves didn't die back and although one looks like it's dying off now I am thinking of moving them and preparing the ground, any advise please.

Mine are in a large pot in a sheltered corner & flower without the leaves, in late autumn, and the leaves appear afterwards. Good luck for next year anyway.

They can take a year or two to settle in. Keep them dry in the summer, and around mid-August, start watering them. Mine are starting to have the foliage yellow, and I just move the pots to an out of the way spot until August.

they need to get plenty of sun on the bulb so plant with the top 1" of the bulb above the soil level. if they get shaded by other plants they wont 'ripen' to give flowers. If you can wait until the foliage is dying back that will restrict any damage to them.
