Please help! What is wrong with my plant (think it's a cordyline?) we aren't ready to plant it (need to build planter first) but I wondering if it needs to come out of its pot or if we are too late and it's dying :'( appreciate any suggestions anyone has to offer xx

I see the leaves now ...a bit of frost and be careful to weather it too much .do not cut the leaves now wait a bit until there is no frost anymore.

welcome to GoY, the plant is suffering from some wind and frost damage. Keep it sheltered and if you can put it into a larger pot as Mossy says.

Did you buy it from somewhere indoors and then put it outside? That would have shocked it.
