I have a Cox's Apple Pippin Tree - now 4 years old. For the first 2 years - no fruit. third it was attacked by "bug eating" . over last winter/spring I put grease on the trunk and large polythene bag around trunk to to this problem. To no avail loads of fruit this year and over 75% eaten by bugs - HELP!!

Grease bands are only part of the solution. If the fruit is eaten from the insside then you need to hang some Pheromone traps in the tree. Most G/C's etc sell them.
