how big is the rootball of a 15ft plant

On plant Chamaecyparis lawsoniana

Answers

Wow! Usually, too big to handle! If you want to move it, you will have to hire someone with special heavy equipment to dig it out and handle it. If you are thinking of how close to the house it can be, I wouldn't want it any closer than 30 feet away, because of the surface roots at maturity.
