It's best when the leaves are off the canes in November. Prepare your ground first with plenty of rotted manure. After planting you will have to reduce the length of the canes to 9inches, no fruit the 1st. year unless they are autumn fruiting. Dress the rows in the spring with Blood, Fish and Bone.
